Continuing the expansion south, in 2014 Hartz closed on the acquisition of over 2,500,000 rentable square feet of industrial space in Atlanta, Georgia. The “Atlanta Portfolio” is made up of two highly recognizable infill industrial parks, Peachtree Corners and Kennestone Corners, located in the I-85 NE and I-75 NW submarkets respectively. The portfolio is comprised of sturdy brick on block buildings, in desirable infill locations with immediate access to major interstates. Hartz has continued to grow its Atlanta industrial holdings, acquiring an additional 3,000,000 rentable square feet.
All of Hartz Mountain’s 5.5 Million square feet of warehouse/distribution space is 20 minutes or less from Downtown Atlanta and less than 5 minutes from access to the I-285 beltway.
