Atlanta was the first major industrial development outside of the NJ/NY Metro area. In 2014, Hartz closed on the initial acquisition of over 2,500,000 rentable square feet of industrial space. The “Atlanta Portfolio” was originally made up of two highly recognizable infill industrial parks, Peachtree Corners and Kennestone Corners, located in the I-85 NE and I-75 NW submarkets respectively. The portfolio is comprised of sturdy brick on block buildings, in desirable infill locations with immediate access to major interstates. Hartz has continued to grow its Atlanta industrial holdings, recently acquiring an additional 3,000,000 rentable square feet.
Hartz Mountain’s 5.5 million square feet of warehouse/distribution space is 20 minutes or less from Downtown Atlanta and less than 5 minutes from access to the I-285 beltway.
